Most of the VC companies have a Portfolio section in their website, where they showcase the companies that they have incubated/funded. Bessemer Venture Partners is one VC company which also has a section called “Anti-Portfolio”. In this section, they have listed out companies/opportunities they passed on, which latter on went on to become huge successes. Bessemer Venture Partners is one of the oldest VC firm and the candor on their part only reflects their maturity, courage and humility.
However, in the hindsight, considering what was on the table, the glaring misses are only understandable. Opportunity seldom comes calling wearing impeccable business suits.
