Office is dead-The shrill gets louder

Seth Godin is yet another person wondering if office in its current form will survive the information age. Remember seeing some more articles like this and even some rabid rants about office in last couple of days.

While working in an advertising agency, where it helps to feed off the creative energies of one another, am left wondering if this was just another wishful thinking. Think the common gripe against office as a productivity killer is the time wasted in unproductive meetings. But doing away with office altogether just because of this would be akin to throwing the baby out with the bath water.
